Dealing with immigration cases or other legal challenges and issues creates an opportunity for Fischer to become more knowledgeable about what’s going on outside the United States so she can better help her colleagues. Creating trust between attorney and client means superior organization and knowledge, which Fischer assists with in her paralegal work, researching the law and all the players in a trial.  Leah Fischer also writes “correspondence, routine pleadings, briefs and motions and create[s] trial binders” for her colleagues so they can successful perform their duties in a court of law and in negotiation.
