Leah Fischer: Education

Leah Fischer is a legal secretary who’s worked as an independent contractor since July of 2017 in Los Angeles, California. She holds a Paralegal Certificate focused in Paralegal Studies from California State University-East Bay and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Redlands.

Ms. Fischer is devoted to her professional success and is thriving in her career, and she doesn’t plan to stop any time soon.

Leah Fischer: One-Time Intern at the DOJ

Leah Fischer once enjoyed the chance to intern at the Department of Justice – particularly within the Appeals, Writs and Trials office of the DOJ San Francisco Criminal Division. Between February and August of 2014, Fischer worked directly with and under the Deputy Attorney General Karen Bovarnick, where she was responsible for research, drafting briefs, reading transcripts, taking notes and preparing presentations.
