Leah Fischer: Criminal Law Paralegal


Leah Rachel Tyrna Fischer, 27 one of the two  Oakland resident along with Auburn man and assistance of other agencies in november working for Paralegal Services and Development in Los Angeles, California. Fischer has made herself a thriving legal career without earning a law degree. She has worked for Paralegal Services since July of 2017 but has worked as an assistant in law firms since 2007. 




Leah Fischer started as a receptionist and legal assistant for Merritt Weisinger, the founding attorney of Walnut Creek Family Law Center. From there, she worked as a researcher and assistant in several other law firms before landing at Paralegal Services. Her work today involves her in many criminal law cases, which operate differently from civil law or family law cases. She attends court proceedings, assists in trial preparation, and more. 

Leah Fischer is always working to improve her position and provide helpful support to her colleagues as a paralegal. In the criminal justice system, paralegals are extremely important for their attorneys
